Meet our Associate Maria Demosthenous. She is a practicing lawyer since 2022.
Maria obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Reading, UK in 2020. She has successfully completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and Master’s Degree (LLM) at the University of Law, Bristol in 2021. In 2021 she joined Argyrou & Demosthenous LLC as a trainee lawyer.
Maria gained valuable legal knowledge through her internships at well-known law firms in Nicosia on civil, commercial, real estate, and family law and by shadowing a family law Judge in Cyprus.
Maria was admitted to the Cyprus Bar association in 2021.
In her new role in the firm, Maria assists the members of the litigation team with various tasks and has gained valuable knowledge and legal insight. She is currently dealing with cases of commercial, corporate, banking, real estate, and family law.

2017-2020: Degree in Law (LLB with Honours) at the University of Reading
2020-2021: Legal Practice Course (LPC) with LLM on Family Law, at University of Law, Bristol.
