Meet one of our founders and managing directors, Andrie Argyrou. She is a practicing barrister in the courts of the Republic of Cyprus since 1993.

Before founding Argyrou & Demosthenous LLC, Andrie had the opportunity to work with two of the most prestigious law firms in Cyprus, gaining experience in a wide range of civil and administrative law cases.

In 2001, she founded together with her husband and advocate, Kleanthis Demosthenous, the law firm Argyrou & Demosthenous LLC. Since then, the law firm has been distinguished for providing high-level legal services and excellent in-court and out-of-court representation to its clients in civil, administrative, criminal and commercial law cases.

Andrie is a highly experienced and successful family law lawyer that provides her clients with clear-cut and concise legal advice. She has been practicing law with appearances before the Cypriot courts, handling with great success demanding and complex family law cases, and has acted in complex, high-profile cases of child abuse, divorces, and child abduction. She will always fight her client’s corner tenaciously and diligently and has been described as robust and meticulous in her case preparation, and instilling confidence in the courtroom. Andrie Argyrou is one of the first lawyers in Cyprus to be trained in mediation and since 2019, is an accredited mediator by the Ministry of Justice and Public Order.

Mrs. Argyrou participated in numerous, well-known International conferences, seminars, and training programs in relation to Family Law issues, Mediation, the General Data Protection Regulation, and the Protection of Fundamental Rights both in Cyprus and in Europe.
