Meet one of our founders and managing directors, Kleanthis Demosthenous. He is a practicing lawyer since 1999.

Kleanthis is a partner at the boutique law firm of Argyrou & Demosthenous LLC.

Since 1999 he has been active in the field of litigation and consultancy, initially working with one of the most distinguished law firms in Cyprus. Since 2001, he manages Argyrou & Demosthenous LLC, with the assistance of experienced and qualified associates.

Mr. Demosthenous is a barrister in the courts of the Republic of Cyprus acting for both local and foreign commercial clients and individuals in a wide range of disputes. He has extensive courtroom experience and represents both claimants and defendants across an expansive range of fields including breach of contract, shipping, construction, real estate and planning, corporate, contentious probate, banking and finance, and tort. 

During his many years in the legal profession, he has acquired vast judicial experience and a high level of knowledge in the fields of civil, commercial, and criminal law.

He handled complex and unique cases, some of which led to judicial decisions that shaped the Cypriot jurisprudence.

He is distinguished for his excellent negotiating skills and the prompt and successful resolution of all types of disputes for his clients.

Moreover, Kleanthis has significant experience in non-contentious work, in acquisitions and disposals of residential and commercial buildings concerning freehold and leasehold interests, and in complex leasing transactions. He provides advice on initial procurement, and property documentation, in the drafting and negotiation of all forms of construction documentation including building contracts, consultancy agreements, collateral warranties, performance bonds, and guarantees.
